STOP!!!! Chilli time…

In the spirit of true chilli growing competition it’s time to compare, contrast and deride if necessary. None of that “it’s all about the taking part” tosh around here. Bibendum staff are in it to win it…

So here are some picture that have been sent in. Yours not here? Then please send it in and we’ll feature it. Have you got any special advice for our avid growers…leave a comment below…

A new twist? Chilli pot caption challenge

You never know what direction things are going to take off in. The chillis are by and large now growing upwards. Even my pot is showing a few little green shoots poking out. When it comes to foodie thrills, it is hard to beat that slow but steady build up of heat on your taste buds that can only come from a full chilli onslaught. It builds and it builds and then bang, it rages and you think “why the hell…?!” …

Chilli conquests – Wahaca style!

We’re staying down Mexico way to dig a bit deeper into what’s making Mexican food quite so hot at the moment. The simple answer, of course, is chilli! I was given a chilli ‘grow in a bag’ set up for Christmas (I know…so long ago) and despite planting it straight away, I’ve only seen the first of the fruit in the last few days. Lack of sun and …
